Tips For Keeping Your Motivation To Exercise

There is no denying the benefits of exercise for health. That is often a problem is our motivation to start and to keep exercising. In essence the motivation can come from within (intrinsic) and from beyond ourselves (extrinsic). If you do the activity (sports) because the reason for health, lose weight, or reduce stress then it means you do sport because internal motivation. On the contrary if you do sport because only want to follow the lifestyle of a friend or just because it's called self-esteem as motivation.

The activities are based on internal motivation will usually give better results and last a long time. Below are some ways to keep your motivation to keep exercising.

1. Education for yourself.  Make yourself understand why sports is important to you and how you take advantage of the sports you do. Knowledge you can get from a book, magazine or directly ask the expert.

2. Discover a model/example.  More hanging out with people who always work out and who have a pattern of healthy living. If your friends always do exercise and eat a healthy diet then you will surely do the same too.

3. Make a list of personal reasons why you need to exercise. Try to take a few days to create a list/list of excuses which you can find from yourself, why sports is important for you to do. For example, "I did the sport for: lose weight, improve health, strengthen heart function, and make me stronger if should walk away, wish long life to see the children and grandchildren grow up, etc.)

4. Do sports with friends.  Exercises conducted together with companions or close friends will make you always feel pleased and happy for doing exercise.

5. Specify the goals. Determine the objective is very important because it will make you can specify the target practice. Specify the target to initiate a lightweight (very convenient) for example a 2 km surrounding the House, then the target is increased gradually in accordance with the ability of your body.

6. Make sports fun. Most sports do you like best.  You can choose what sport are you most like just maybe you prefer swimming, walking, cycling, fitness, or just about anything you like. Don't pick the less sports you love because you will not be happy to get through it.

This will make your motivation up. 9. Give yourself rewards. After a grueling workout, you can visit the Spa to pamper your body for the efforts that you have done. But do not appreciate your efforts by visiting a diner or restaurant after work out because your efforts to achieve a healthy body will be wasted!!!.

Whatever your motivation, both from within and from outside it doesn't matter as long as you can still work out regularly.
